Human Fibrinogen Purified FITC Labeled from Innovative Research has been purified from human plasma using a proprietary combination of conventional chromatographic techniques. This is a frozen liquid buffered in 0.02M Acetic Acid; pH 3.6, with a concentration of 4.0 mg/ml and a purity of >95%.
This product is useful as a positive control for ELISA and western blot and for a variety of in vitro applications including clotting assays, fibrinolysis, hemostasis, IHC of infused tissue, protein-protein interactions, thromboelastography, thrombolysis, and more. Normal human plasma clots are dissociated using non-denaturing conditions in which non fibrin bound plasma proteins are removed. The soluble human fibrin clot is then stored under acidic conditions. The soluble human fibrin will reassemble into an insoluble clot when pH is restored to neutral (e.g. by adding one-tenth volume of 10X PBS to the soluble fibrin).
