Designed to produce staining intensity similar to Harris Hematoxylin

Hematoxylin 2 Stain

  • Does not contain mercuric oxide and will not form a metallic sheen over its surface each day
  • This rapid stain is recommended for frozen sections
  • Requires no filtration prior to use
  • Will not form crystals upon standing or exposure to cold weather
  • Will stain tissue as intense as Gill 3
  • Has longer shelf life, and is more consistent and stable than Harris Hematoxylin
