Inert, nonvolatile granules control bumping of low-boiling-point liquids

  • Multiple points on granules increase the surface area on which bubbles can form
  • Bubbles rise steadily to the surface in a gentle stream instead of in violent mass migration
  • Resist most chemical action, with exception of acids and alkalis
  • Cannot contaminate distillate

Absorb atmospheric moisture. If moisture is critical, dry at 200°C for two hours before use.
