Description

A component of the FLARE™ Assay Kit, which is used for the rapid analysis of DNA adducts revealed using the CometAssay in conjunction with DNA repair enzymes

  • The CometAssay, or single cell gel electrophoresis assay, permits the quantification of DNA damage in individual cells based on the migration of DNA structures in an electric field
  • As a result of the migration, Comet tail shaped images are formed and the amount of DNA in the Comet tail as well as the distance of migration, can be a measure of damage
  • FLARE™ Slides are convenient, simple, and reliable format for sample preparation, processing, analysis, and storage for the CometAssay and FLARE™ Assay
