Fluorescein di(β-D-galactopyranoside) is a fluorogenic substrate that releases fluorescein upon β-galactosidase cleavage, producing a green fluorescent signal for enzymatic assays. It is used for measuring β-galactosidase activity in cell-based and biochemical applications, including senescence-associated β-galactosidase assays.

• Provides fluorogenic detection of β-galactosidase activity.
• Produces green fluorescence (Ex 488 nm, Em 520 nm; for SA-βG use Ex 485 nm, Em 535 nm).
• Soluble in DMSO at 5 mg/mL with ultrasonic warming.
