The 3M Foil Tape 431 is a 2 inch wide pressure-sensitive aluminum foil tape with an acrylic adhesive. It has a thickness of 3.6 mils and is used for HVAC duct sealing, joining sheet metal, and patching aluminum foil insulation. This UL-listed tape can withstand temperatures up to 250°F and has a tensile strength of 35 lbs/in. The acrylic adhesive provides good adhesion to sheet metal, glass, and ceramic surfaces. This tape comes in a standard length of 60 yards per roll.
