Tissue forceps with 1x2 teeth have one tooth on one tip and two teeth on the other tip of the tweezers. These tweezers have a fine tip for delicate tissue manipulation, such as during ophthalmic surgery or plastic surgery. Laboratory researchers choose these tissue forceps for precision work and microdissection. The teeth ensure a firm grasp of the tissue, which is ideal for slippery or hard to hold tissues. While tweezers with teeth run the risk of puncturing delicate tissue, the 1x2 configuration causes less tissue trauma than surgical tweezers with more teeth. These are available with curved or straight tips. The curved tips offer greater visibility of the operating area. They are 12.5cm (5") long and fit easily into your hand for precision work.
