FPA-124 has been shown to induce apoptosis and exhibits dose-dependent growth inhibitory effects in various cancer cell lines, with IC50s ranging from 7 to 55 μM. Additionally, in an orthotopic pancreatic tumor model, FPA-124 demonstrated PKB (Akt protein) inhibitory activities and caused NF-κB inactivation.
