FR054 is a small-molecule research inhibitor of the hexosamine biosynthetic pathway enzyme phosphoglucomutase 3 (PGM3). It alters protein glycosylation, induces endoplasmic reticulum stress and reactive oxygen species-dependent apoptosis in breast cancer cells, and has been shown to suppress tumor growth in MDA-MB-231 xenograft models. Supplied as a high-purity oil for biochemical and cell-based studies.
- Inhibits PGM3 in the hexosamine biosynthetic pathway.
- Shows anti-breast cancer activity in cell and xenograft studies.
- Modulates N- and O-linked protein glycosylation.
- Induces ER stress and ROS-dependent apoptotic cell death.
- High purity suitable for research applications.
- Recommended cold storage to maintain stability.
