An enzyme immunoassay for the quantitative measurement of free triiodothyronine (fT3) in serum. The DRG Free T3 ELISA is a solid phase enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) based on the principle of competitive binding. This product is for Research Use Only. The microtiter wells are coated with a polyclonal (sheep) antibody directed towards a unique antigenic site of the T3 molecule. Endogenous FT3 of a sample competes with a T3-horseradish peroxidase conjugate for binding to the coated antibody.
