Galactose Oxidase, Dactylium dendroides (GOase) is a type II copper metalloenzyme derived from fungus, commonly used in biochemical studies. It catalyzes the two-electron oxidation of primary alcohols to their corresponding aldehydes, reducing dioxygen to hydrogen peroxide.
