GDM-1 is a monoblast cell line that was isolated in 1980 from the peripheral blood of a 66-to-67-year-old, White female patient with a Philadelphia chromosome-negative myeloproliferative disorder that transformed into acute myelomonoblastic leukemia. This cell line was deposited by H Ben-Bassat and can be used in immunology and immune system disorder research.
