HUVECs are ideal for studying angiogenesis, endothelial cell biology, and endothelial cell pathophysiology. They are shipped frozen at passage 1 and have a population doubling time of 48-72 hours. Cell Biologics ensures the cells are free of mycoplasma, bacteria, yeast, fungi, HIV, hepatitis B and hepatitis C.
