Description

Provides the electrical connection between the titrator unit and the generator electrode (or generator cell) inside the titration setup.

• In a coulometric titration system, the generator electrode is the part that generates iodine (or other reagents) electrically to react with water in the sample that electrode must be connected reliably to the titrator electronics via the cable.
• The cable ensures a stable and proper electrical connection to the generator electrode.
• That connection is critical: in coulometric KF titration, the electrode must be polarized under a constant current while the titrator monitors potential changes to detect endpoint.
• Without a correct cable, the generator electrode cannot receive current or communicate with the titrator, so titration would fail or give incorrect results.
• The cable is part of the modular accessory / spare-part set of Mettler Toledo titrators, and must match the titrator model and generator electrode type to ensure correct compatibility
