HT-supplemented medium is suitable for post-selection rescue to overcome the effects of residual intracellular aminopterin.

  • Liquid mixture of sodium hypoxanthine (10mM) and thymidine (1.6mM)
  • Once the de novo biosynthesis pathway for nucleosides has been reestablished, HT supplementation can be discontinued
