Description
Streptomycin Sulfate acts by binding to 30S subunit of the bacterial ribosome leading to inhibition of protein synthesis and death in susceptible bacteria. Streptomycin Sulfate is highly active against gram-negative with some activity against gram-positive bacteria.

- Used alone or in combination with penicillin for prevention of bacterial contamination of cell cultures
- Recommended working concentration ranges from 50 to 100μg/mL
