Heats to 249°C (480°F)

For heating odd lengths of glass tubes or metal pipes. Resists electrical burnout, even when overloaded beyond power rating. Two ribbon-type heating elements encased in durable glass braid, covered with tough silicone rubber for use in high-moisture areas. Easily passes 1000V test for electrical insulation. Use with suitable voltage controller, such as variable transformer. Regulators used with pyrometer and thermocouple will provide appropriate reference settings for reproducible temperatures.
