Gibco™ Glucose, high-temperature short-time (HTST)-treated
Description
Gibco™ high-temperature short-time (HTST)-treated products are briefly exposed to temperatures of ≥100°C using in-line pasteurization technology. HTST is risk mitigation step that may reduce potential viral contaminations from entering upstream manufacturing from raw materials. Products such as glucose and other simple sugars are heated for a controlled period to not alter the treated product’s performance or viability. If HTST is a critical step in your process, outsourcing glucose can help you discover new efficiencies to reclaim time, space, and resources.
