This is a lyophilized powder buffered in 10mM sodium phosphate, 150mM sodium chloride pH 7.2, with a purity of greater than 97% as determined by SDS-PAGE analysis. Immunoglobulin G (IgG) is an antibody that plays a role in controlling infection, neutralizing toxins, activating the classical pathway of the complement system, and more. Each individual IgG contains two identical antigen binding sites. There are four subclasses of IgG (IgG1, IgG2, IgG3, and IgG4) that have different (and sometimes opposing) properties.
