The Multitron is an incubator shaker by Infors HT. It has a temperature range of 5°C above ambient to 80°C, allowing incubation at physiological temperatures. Speed is adjustable from 25 to 400rpm with an orbit of 20mm. The inner chamber is made of corrosion resistant stainless steel and has a capacity of 2 to 150 liters. Safety features include overtemperature protection, imbalance detection, and door locking. It can accommodate flasks up to 5 liters and microplates. The Multitron allows gentle to vigorous shaking for microbial and cell cultures.
