Potent, selective and irreversible PPARγ antagonist. Blocks the PPARγ-induced differentiation of monocytes to osteoclasts by >90% at a dose of 0.1µM. Much more potent antagonist than BADGE (ALX-270-353). Can be used to antagonize the effects of PPARγ agonists in a variety of cell types. Alternative name: 2-Chloro-5-nitrobenzanilide. Purity: ≥98% (HPLC). Solubility: Soluble in DMSO (50mg/ml), 100% ethanol (10mg/ml) or dimethyl formamide. Insoluble in water. Long Term Storage: Ambient.
