GW 9508 is a free fatty acid receptor (FFAR) agonist that potentiates glucose and KCl-stimulated insulin secretion in MIN6 cells. It is a selective partial agonist for FFAR1 (GPR40) and FFAR4 (GPR120). pEC50 values are 7.32 and 5.46 for FFAR1 and FFAR4, respectively. Provided as 1 mg of dry powder. These highly purified, pre-validated control ligands have been used to qualify our InCELL Hunter,  PathHunter and cAMP Hunter cell lines as well as our Assay Ready Kits.
