Haemophilus Test Medium (HTM) is used in the dilution antimicrobial susceptibility testing (AST) of Haemophilus influenzae and other fastidious respiratory pathogens. This formulation is supplemented with the X factor (hematin) but not the V (NAD) growth factors. For differentiation of XV, NAD must be added to this medium. Each lot of media from MOLTOX is tested for sterility, where applicable, and its ability to support the growth of the appropriate microorganism. All media are accompanied by GLP-compliant formulation and Quality Control certificate.
