- HardyDisk™ AST Disks are used for semi-quantitative in vitro susceptibility testing by the agar diffusion test procedure (KirbyBauer) of rapidly growing and certain fastidious bacterial pathogens
- HardyDisk™ AST Disks are prepared by impregnating high-quality 6mm diameter white filter paper disks with accurately determined amounts of antimicrobics or other chemotherapeutic agents
- Disks are clearly marked on both sides with letters and numbers designating the agent and the drug content
