Proline substitutions TI 871-872 PP are introduced to stabilize the trimeric prefusion state of the spike protein.;This protein carries a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus. The protein has a calculated MW of 125.7 kDa. The protein migrates as 150-200 kDa under reducing (R) condition (SDS-PAGE) due to glycosylation.
