The Back-Pressure Regulator (BPR) is an optional attachment that applies pressure to the Enzymate digestion column. It is installed downstream of the column, specifically at the bulkhead fitting for the waste line. The blue knob on the BPR allows for manual adjustment of the back pressure. Pressure readings can be monitored in the console via the auxiliary solvent manager (ASM).
