Description

Available in several sizes, the style and diameter of headspace vials depend on the autosampler.

  • Vials with rounded bottoms are sturdier and more resistant to pressure than the flat bottom vial.
  • The rounded bottom version was created to allow the vial, when transported by a magnet, to drop more easily into the heating block.
  • The top finish of the vial is beveled finish, which helps reduce the amount of sealing surface between the crimp seal and the glass surface.
  • Can be used with CTC autosampler (Combi PAL).
  • Used in storing samples for stability analysis of freeze dried and fluid bed dried alginate microcapsules coated with chitosan containing model probiotic bacteria, Lactobacillus plantarum.
