Description

The Vaginal Swab Specimen Collection Kit is required for the collection, transportation, and preservation of DNA in a vaginal swab sample for use with the binx™ health io™ CT/NG Assay.

The binx™ health io™ Vaginal Swab Specimen Collection is required for the collection, transportation, and preservation of DNA in a vaginal swab specimen for use with the binx™ health io™ CT/NG Assay.

  • Kit consists of a screw cap tube containing Transport and Preservation Medium and a sample collection swab
  • Specimens stored and transported using the binx™ health io™ Vaginal Swab Specimen Collection Kit are intended to be processed using the binx™ health io™ CT/NG Assay using the binx™ health io™ Instrument
  • It is not intended to be used for the preservation and transfer of samples for any other test
  • Patient samples may be stored in the Collection Kit for 24 hours at room temperature or for seven (7) days refrigerated at 2°C-8°C
