The Edwards Signaling Heat Detector 16X276 is a fixed temperature heat detector designed to activate an alarm at a predetermined temperature. It has a 135°F activation temperature and uses a eutectic alloy sensor. The detector provides open area protection with 15' spacing capability. It features a rate compensation design that eliminates false alarms. The heat detector has a low profile design with a white finish and mounts to a 4" square box. It is UL listed and meets NFPA 72. The Edwards 16X276 provides reliable heat detection for commercial fire alarm systems.
