The Edwards Signaling Heat Detector Rate Compensation is a fixed temperature heat detector designed for open area protection. It has a 135°F/57°C fixed temperature rating and rate compensation that adjusts sensitivity based on rate of temperature rise. The detector provides a cover tamper signal when removed. It has UL listing and is made of durable ABS plastic with dimensions of 2.8" diameter x 1.8" depth. The operating voltage is 8.5-33VDC and current draw is 270μA. This Edwards heat detector model 270-21-OH is ideal for warehouses, manufacturing facilities, commercial buildings and other open areas requiring heat detection.
