Provides broad retention for amines, hydrophilic and hydrophobic compounds, inorganic cations, basic drugs, and anionic counter-ions. Provides moderate cation-exchange retention with enhanced selectivity for basic analytes, while proprietary ligand design introduces additional chelation interactions for unique separation behavior. Functional groups are integrated on a single ligand. A medium strength acidic group (pKa ~3) is positioned in the inner layer of the stationary phase close to the silica surface, minimizing interaction with residual silanols and improving peak shape for basic analytes. Incorporates surface-bound ion-pairing functionality, enabling full MS compatibility without the need for mobile phase ion-pairing reagents.
