Helix Seal (PKT 4). Package of four replacement Helix Seals. In conjunction with the Locking Screw, this is what creates the gas tight seal between the nebulizer and the spray chamber. To ensure a proper seal replace every 6 months.Damage to the Helix insert of a TFE spray chamber can occur over time due to overtightening of the Helix locking screw. This will happen if the Helix seal is worn and you continue to tighten the locking screw, this results in the nebulizer being pushed further into the spray chamber and the locking screw going past the threads of the Helix insert. Essentially stretching the softer TFE material and slowly deforming the Helix insert.
