The Hex Head Plug is a forged steel plug with a hexagonal head. It is made in the USA by Fastenal and is available in coarse thread sizes ranging from 1/4"-20 to 1"-8. The plugs feature a black oxide finish for corrosion resistance. They can be used to plug holes, fill unused tapped holes, or seal openings. The plugs meet ASME B18.2.1 specifications and offer a tensile strength of 105,000 psi.
