The Anvil Hex Head Plug is a forged steel plug with a hex head drive for use in sealing pipe openings. It has a pressure rating of 150 psi and temperature rating of 650°F. The plug has a standard pipe thread and is available in sizes ranging from 1/8 inch to 2 inches. It is made from hot rolled and completely annealed steel for strength and machinability. The heavy hex head drive allows use with standard wrenches for installation and removal. This plug provides an economical way to temporarily or permanently seal openings in threaded pipe systems.
