• Air at a digitally controlled temperature is blown through the base of the instrument for rapid and efficient slide drying without the risk of overheating the specimen
• Through this process, drying times can be reduced by approximately 75% when compared to conventional ovens
• Designed with space for up to 13 slide racks (when used without the timer rack system) at 30 slide capacity each for a total capacity of 390 slides
• Innovative resistance hinges on the lid allows users to easily position it at an angle, allowing both hands to be used when placing or removing items from the dryer
• The instrument is designed with a small footprint so it can be located in close proximity to the microtome
• Optional timers and an accompanying rack can be purchased for use on the top of the dryer that allow for timing and monitoring of up to 8 individual racks
