This Cogent HPS Amino™ Stationary Phase has been a premium value and used by HPLC laboratories for many years. Not end capped, it is manufactured using tri-functional bonding of a 3 carbon silane with a terminal amino group to our unique High Purity Silica. This Column is ideal as an Alternate in any USP Method that uses the L8 Classification or for new methods. With a 5 µm Particle, this Column works well with higher flow rates and lower back pressures compared with smaller particles. Used for polar compounds with a negative charge such as Sugars and compounds with Carboxylic Acid Groups in Normal Phase or HILIC modes. Compare to Inertsil ™ Amino and Luna ™ Amino Columns. This column is sometimes used for scouting.
