It is double end capped ( fully ), with traditional bonding of an 18 carbon silane to the highest purity silica available.With a 5 µm Particle and 300A Pore Size, this column works well with higher flow rates and lower back pressures. Used for large hydrophobic or neutral compounds in Reversed Phase, this Octadecyl Phase is also excellent for long chain fatty acids, some proteins and peptides. This column is often chosen for LCMS when increased resolution is desired.
