This Cogent RP C18 ABX™ Column is a premium value and used in HPLC with extreme pH (2-12) in the Mobile Phase for Acidic or Basic Compounds. It is specially end capped (bulky) and is bonded with an 18 carbon aliphatic hydrocarbon to the highest purity silica available. This column is one of our Columns chosen as an Alternate in USP Methods that use the L1 Classification with acids or bases with a very high or a very low pKa. This Column is very rugged and can be used in typical Reversed Phase HPLC. Used for hydrophobic or neutral compounds in Reversed Phase, this Octadecyl Phase is excellent for long chain fatty acids.
