This Cogent RP C18 PE™ Column is a premium value and used in HPLC with polar and non polar compounds. Double end capped (fully), it is bonded with an 18 carbon aliphatic hydrocarbon, with an Amide group embedded in the middle of the ligand, using the highest purity silica available. This Column is an ideal Alternate for your USP Methods that use the L1 Classification and 100% Water as the Mobile Phase for hydrophobic samples. Very rugged, and often called "Polar Embedded", it can be used in typical Reversed Phase or HILIC modes. Used for hydrophobic or neutral compounds in Reversed Phase, this Octadecyl Phase is excellent for long chain fatty acids. This is one of our Polar Embedded C18 Columns.
