Description

Convenient, reliable and safe hydrolysis unit for sample preparation prior to extraction for total fat determination.

  • Solution for sample preparation frees fat molecules so they are ready for extraction
  • Procedure is required in a number of AOAC Official Methods to determine the fat content of food samples such as meat, cheese, seafood, chocolate, cereal flours, etc.
  • Performs hydrolysis in safe fashion and handles six samples at a time to maximize productivity
  • Supplied with vacuum pump to reduce acid fumes
  • Provides effective filtration and rinsing of 3 to 6 samples in parallel
  • Valves allow user to selectively interrupt the vacuum in each position, speeding up the filtration process
