Human DSCAM-L1/DSCAM2 quantitates human DSCAM-L1/DSCAM2 in serum, plasma, supernatant. The assay will exclusively recognize both natural and recombinant human DSCAM-L1/DSCAM2.

DSCAML1 encodes a protein that is a member of the Ig superfamily of cell adhesion molecules and is involved in neuronal differentiation. The encoded membrane-bound protein localizes to the cell surface, where it forms aggregates that repel neuronal processes of the same cell type.
