Highest antigen sequence indentity to the following orthologs: Mouse (97%), Rat (97%). This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibodies, PA5-64908, PA5-52294. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.

EMX1 is a transcription factor, which in cooperation with EMX2. It acts to generate the boundary between the roof and archipallium in the developing brain. It may function in combinations with OTX1/2 to specify cell fates in the developing central nervous system.
