Invitrogen™ Human Estrogen Receptor alpha (aa 21-32) Synthetic Peptide
Description
PEP-037 is a 13 amino acid (amino acids. 21-32)synthetic peptide whose sequence corresponds to amino terminal of human estrogen receptor a. The sequence of this peptide is (amino to carboxy terminus): N21-E-L-E-P-L-N-R-P-Q-L-K32- (C) (A cysteine residue was added to facilitate coupling KLH). This peptide may be used for neutralization and control experiments with the polyclonal antibody that reacts with this product and human estrogen receptor a, catalog # PA1-309. Using a solution with equal weights per unit volume of peptide and corresponding antibody will yield a solution with a large molar excess of peptide that is able to competitively bind the antibody. Reconstitute with 0.1 mL of distilled water.
