Human FGF-basic 154 (FGF-2) is produced in E.coli. This recombinant protein has a purity limit of ≥95% and a low endotoxin level of ≤1.00 EUs/ug. The biological activity is measured in a 3T3 cell proliferation assay with an ED50 < 5 ng/mL . This product is lyophilized from a sterile (0.2 micron) filtered aqueous solution containing 10 mM sodium phosphate, 75 mM sodium chloride, pH 7.5 , and is shipped at room temperature. When this product is recieved, reconstitute with sterile water at 0.1 mg/mL. ACF= Animal Component Free
