Recombinant Protein

Highest antigen sequence indentity to the following orthologs: Mouse (81%), Rat (81%). This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-51699. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.

The Golgi complex plays a key role in the sorting and modification of proteins exported from the endoplasmic reticulum. The protein encoded by this gene is a type II Golgi-resident protein. It may process proteins synthesized in the rough endoplasmic reticulum and assist in the transport of protein cargo through the Golgi apparatus.
