ELISA

900-K38K consists of: 900-K38 (capture antibody, detection antibody, and protein standard), and AVIDIN-60UL (avidin HRP-conjugate). Human CXCL1 (GRO alpha) ABTS ELISA Development Kit contains the key components required for the quantitative measurement of natural and/or recombinant human CXCL1 (GRO alpha) in a sandwich ELISA format. Human CXCL1 (GRO alpha) ABTS ELISA Development Kit contains enough material to assay the target cytokine in at least 1,000 ELISA plate wells. The ABTS ELISA Buffer Kit (Product # 900-K00), sold separately, is recommended to be used in conjunction with this ABTS ELISA Development Kit for optimal performance. This buffer kit contains all the necessary components to assay ten 96-well ELISA plates (included) and contains detailed handling instructions.

CXCL1, CXCL2, and CXCL3, also known respectively as GRO alpha, GRO beta (MIP-2 alpha) and GRO gamma (MIP-2 beta), are members of the CXC subfamily of chemokines. Mature CXCL1/2/3 proteins bind with high affinity to the IL-8 receptor type B and are potent neutrophil attractants and activators. In vitro, the processed forms GRO-alpha(4-73), GRO-alpha(5-73) and GRO-alpha(6-73) show a 30-fold higher chemotactic activity.
