Primary Human Iliac Artery (HIAEC) Endothelial Cells are isolated from normal tissue. Additional donor characteristics including e.g. heart disease, hypertension, or smoking history may be available. Clonetics Cells, Medium and Reagents are quality tested together and guaranteed to give optimum performance as a complete cell system. Cryopreserved HIAEC are shipped in third passage.Cryopreserved HIAEC are guaranteed through 10 population doublings. HIAEC express CD31/105, von Williebrand Factor VIII, and are positive for acetylated low density lipoprotein uptake. All cells test negative for mycoplasma, bacteria, yeast, and fungi. HIV-1, hepatitis B and hepatitis C are not detected for all donors and/or cell lots.
