STEMCELL Technologies Human Recombinant RANTES (CCL5), Size: 20 µg
SDP

Supplier:  STEMCELL Technologies 78099

Encompass

Use RANTES (regulated upon activation, normal T cell expressed and secreted) in leukocyte recruitment into inflammatory sites, including T cells, macrophages, eosinophils, and basophils. RANTES, also known as CCL5, is a member of the CC family of chemokines and interacts with the chemokine receptors CCR1, CCR3, CCR4, and CCR5 (Schall et al. J Immunol, 1988). Together with certain cytokines, such as IL-2 and IFN-γ, RANTES also induces the activation and proliferation of NK cells to generate CC chemokine-activated killer cells, which are highly cytolytic (Lv et al. Cell Mol Immunol, 2013; Maghazachi et al. Eur J Immunol, 1996). Human recombinant RANTES from STEMCELL comes lyophilized with ≥ 95% purity; EC50 ≤ 250 ng/mL; endotoxin levels verified ≤ 1 EU/μg protein. Alternative names: D17S136, Eosinophil chemotactic cytokine, Regulated upon activation normally T-expressed and secreted, SIS-delta, Small-inducible cytokine A5, T-cell specific protein p288.
