Highest antigen sequence indentity to the following orthologs: Mouse (75%), Rat (75%). This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-111212. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.

Component of ribonuclease P, a protein complex that generates mature tRNA molecules by cleaving their 5'-ends. RPP38 may associate transiently with RNase P RNA as a factor involved in the transport of H1 RNA to the putative site of its assembly in the cell, the nucleolus.
