It has a NEMA standard 56C frame with a 1.25" shaft diameter and 1.38" shaft height. The motor is totally enclosed, fan cooled (TEFC) with a cast iron body, aluminum end brackets, and pre-lubricated ball bearings. It is designed for direct drive applications and has a full load current of 5.8 Amps. The 16V982 is UL listed and CSA certified.
